Louder Doesn't Mean Faster

Effective January 1, 2010, all ATVs and dirt bikes operated on public lands in Colorado will be required to meet a 96dB(A) sound limit measured using the SAE J 1287 sound test (aka the 20" stationary test). Most vehicles will easily meet this standard. Watch this space in the coming months for dates and places to test your ride. In the mean time, check out our sound page for more information.

Keep Your Wheels Where They Belong®

Going around obstacles widens trails, impacts vegetation and causes erosion. Challenge yourself by staying on the trail. Use caution when going over obstacles and remember to be courteous to other trail users.
